Exactly what I was looking for...
...in an understated yet glamorous, hand-made style everyday earring. The quartz sparkles but is less dramatic than a diamond. The teeny size is perfect and light weight - for me, the small size would be too large and heavy and more of a statement piece.
I originally purchased these in the sterling silver but exchanged them in store the next day for the rose gold, which to my eye has a more understated but more high-end appeal. I would highly recommend these, and may yet purchase the silver ones again. Lovely and subtle!

The picture online is beautiful however, I was disappointed to see these earrings in person when they arrived. The stone is super pale blue...looks like aquamarine. I was hoping for a swiss blue topaz as it appears in the picture. I had to return them because they did not look like high end earrings as they are priced.

Really Are Teeny
I love Ippolita jewlery. They are usually well made and elegant. However, this pair of earrings look like they came as a free gift with a makeup purchase. They really are teeny tiny and don't look as expensive as they are. Especially as a brunette, these get lost in my hair. They unfortunately went back. If there were a little bigger, I may have considered keeping them. They could be nice on a blonde or someone sporting a pixie haircut.

Cute but too tiny
Do yourself a favor and get them in small, you won't regret! The "teeny" is cute but way too tiny. The "wow factor" is not there as the stone is too small to reflect in different lighting environment (which draw us to Ippolita collection in the first place.) The small size is just right, understated but elegant and versatile. I particular like the rose metal as it can be mixed and matched effortlessly with silver pieces. Happy shopping!

Beautiful!
These earrings are exactly as pictured. Very simple, beautifully crafted and small enough for everyday wear. The stone color comes across as a dark brown but when the light hits them, they lighten up to look like the photo. The rose gold is a soft rose color that blends really well with 14k gold. These earrings can be worn for casual or dressy occasions. If you've always admired Ippolita as I have, this is a great price for such quality.

Wonderful Wonderland Teardrop Earrings
I received this as an early Christmas gift from my girlfriend. They are really beautiful and can be worn with casual as well as dressy attire. The sterling silver French wire is heavy duty and holds it's shape without being distorted when putting on and off and the convex faceting give it nice depth and shape.
Truly a lovely gift for anyone. I am lucky to have received this gift.
