Instant Solutions^® Tanning Drops

I have been really happy with this! I was using the Dr Dennis Gross glow pads for face and they just weren't doing anything for me anymore and I was ready to try something new. A salesperson at Nordstrom recommended this to me and I love the glow and color it gives me! I have used it a bunch and find that it works best if you use it before bed. Don't put any moisturizer on before or after, just the drops after cleansing your face and you will wake up glowing! I wish it was hydrating but that's ok, it's not for that and I have plenty of other oils that hydrate. It is going to last for a long time... I've been using it about 3 times a week for a month and I haven't even used a 1/4 of the bottle. Love it so much I'm buying it as a gift for a friend.

So I was super excited about trying this self tanner and I wanted to do a test patch just to make sure it works. Well, sadly if you use it with moisturizer it doesn’t work at all. If you use it by itself you probably would probably have to use the whole bottle to get the results you want to achieve. I don’t know if it’s buildable because I haven’t seen any results maybe a half shade difference, and that’s overnight. I exfoliated my skin prior to use. It’s frustrating because I so wanted to love this. It’s too bad, maybe I’m going about it the wrong way.

I have been using this product for about 1 year now. I love it! I am very pale (living in the upper midwest) in general and find that these drops add just enough color to keep me looking glowing and healthy. I do not use it to achieve a significant tan, I only use it to get a subtle tan and glow. I have found that using the tanning drops directly on my skin is the best way to get good color. I do NOT mix the drops with any serum or lotion per se to create a tanning lotion. I also found that one full dropper full is the right amount for me. I started with a few drops and did not have much effect so I went right to a dropper full and this is my magic amount. I usually wait a few hours to apply my moisturizers to be sure the drops have been absorbed and dry. Even using a dropper full of product (about 2-3 times a week) this bottle lasts me several months (I use less during summer and use more in winter months) and a single bottle can last me about 5-6 months.
