Chipped within 2 weeks
Buy at your own risk!
Let me start with the good about this knife - it is a slim, light and a very sharp knife. I only cut vegetables with this knife and it was doing a great job of it for a whole week!
Then suddenly I see 2 chips in the blade. I am beyond mad and the reason for me being this mad is
1) This is a super expensive knife that anyone would expect to last a good number of years.
2) Kyocera Revolution series is known to chip off easily but the Innovation series are made to have a staronger blade that will not chip. And yet, it chipped within 2 weeks.
3) Unlike Norstrom's 'Return Anytime' policy, this vendor is the worst I have seen. There were other Kyocera knives that I bought and Returned after just 1 use. But the vendor declined all my returns stating the knives are damaged. So if the non-damaged knives were declined for a return, I am now stuck with a chipped and a super expensive knife!
I also want to say that I was extremely careful with this knife - I only handwashed it, dried it on a towel where there is no kitchen traffic, stored it carefully.
