Tulip Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

Okay this is my first review ever and I used to be a Level IV customer, so I shop ALOT. I bought these right before a trip to Paris. They ended up as the only shoes I wore. By day they did miles as I wandered Paris for a week. By night with trim slacks and a dressy top they served me at night. The little scallops dressed them up a bit. Most of all, they were incredibly comfortable, nary a blister. I have a wider foot and the 39 was true to my size 8-8 1/2. Came home and am ordering another pair now.

I own multiple pairs of Ilse Jacobsen shoes in 2 other styles. I wear a US size 10M, I originally ordered this style in a 41 - too small. Ordered a 42 - still too small. Now I am returning 2 pairs in size 43 because they are smaller/tighter than both the 41 and the 42! The insoles inside the shoes say 43 on the top but when you flip them over they are stamped 41. And they are smaller than their own company's 41, because I have tried them all. What is up with their sizing??? It's too bad because I really love this style.

I loved these when I first got them - they did run small so I went up a whole size . But after about a week wearing them every day for errands , the cushioning seems gone and there’s hardly any arch support. I will need to add an insole to keep wearing them! Sad as I was excited when I first got them.

I tried these on in a local store. They were very cushy, but did not provide much support! Short term wear. Cute on but not for walking around. They would not provide support for a longer period of time. I'm a school teacher and and am on my feet a lot. However, I had a friend wear them to a brewpub and she thought they were great.

Ok…never would I buy a pair of darling shoes and end up taking a 6 mile hike in them the next day on purpose but…I did! They were fabulous! Through the woods, and onto the beach we traveled (sand was an issue with the ventilation..but I don’t think they were meant fir hiking). They were just as comfortable at the start as the end. Never expected that! No blisters, no rubs, no hot feet in the heat, just a bit of sand. You try and choose a color? Sized down

After seeing the negative reviews, I had no choice but to share! Wore these tonight for the first time and did a bit of walking. Love, love, love them! I’m so excited about my buy I’m going to get another color, and am glad I got both the orange and green when I did! I normally wear 8.5 and have a bunion (wider toe bed). I also gave bad feet. I tried both 38 and 39 at the store and felt better in 38.
