Illuminate Platform Boot (Women)

I fell in love with these at first sight but being unfamiliar with the brand I wasn't sure how they would fit. Based on reading lots of reviews I opted to go up to a size 8. In general I wear a 7 but for dress shoes or boots I usually size up to 7.5. Since that wasn't an option I went with the 8 and am glad I did. I was thrilled that they were just as beautiful in person, however I initially had to fight like hell to get them on-definitely wear sock or tights. They are a little easier to get on now but still snug. I was also worried that the shaft would not fit over my lower leg. My ankles and calves are not wide but I'm not super skinny either. They are a little tight at the top but I can squish the shaft down so it stays around my ankle. They are incredibly gorgeous and sleek, and don't scream teenager like some of their other styles. I have gotten so many compliments on these, and they have been incredibly versatile. I work in an office and they can make a potentially stuffy or "basic" outfit look edgy and sophisticated. I've worn platforms for years and find these to be very comfortable. The only thing stopping me from wearing them every single day is that I don't want to wear them out! If I could give them 10 stars I would and I highly recommend them!
