Ike Chelsea Boot

Fantastic looking boot. Can wear with a number of different looks BUT they’re a leather sole, so I strongly recommend applying some non-slip pads. In addition they need some cushion. If you’re prone to plantar fasciitis as I am, then purchasing some cushion inserts are required.

Great look and comfortable fit!

The boot looks really nice and fairly comfortable as well! In person, the boot looks more formal/dressy than it came across in the photos though. They photographed a very small size for the website, and in reality, I found the boot to look much more slim, with a more pointed toe. It looks a tad more rounded and casual in the photos in my opinion. Ultimately, it was more dressy than what I was looking for. One flaw I noticed- there’s a leather lining (not sure what the proper term is) inside the boot. And the lining has a long narrow U shaped opening at the top of the foot. You can already see a wear pattern on the outer suede that shows this “lining” outline on the outside, which is disappointing for the price. Several reviews for this brand suggest sizing down, which I found very odd. With all boots I’ve owned, you generally need to get a half size larger than your typical sneakers- and these were no different.
