New Race Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased these after holding off for months. I was initially hesitant after watching reviews, but I decided to try them out for myself finally. I am glad that I did. For my personal mechanics, these feel like the sweet spot. I have run a few workouts in them at threshold paces of ~6:50/mi pace and from loading response to toe off, everything fell into place for me. I’m super excited to use them in an upcoming race. My only overt critique is that there is heel slippage regardless of how they are tied. It’s not enough to make me knock a star off, but it is something to note during cornering or when on uneven sidewalks. I do have narrower, low volume feet and these fit them perfectly.

Nice shoe, very light. Loved the shoe laces. But overall the shoes felt like it did not last more than 5 miles.

I bought these for my 13 year old to use for track season to help with shin splints and sore ankles. They helped so much! Unfortunately, the bottom started to come apart after only a month.

Hyperion Elite 5
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes feel light and comfortable overall. The only issue I’ve noticed is some heel lift in the back. I tightened the laces to help reduce it, which did improve things a bit. I’m hoping they perform well on race day and that the heel lift won’t become an issue.

BEST Brooks running shoe YET!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been running in Brooks since the release of the PureFlows (which I MISS!) and begrudgingly moved on to the Ghosts for several releases when I could no longer find PureFlows : \ and most recently took a jump to the Hyperion Elite 5 (Des Linden had a little to do with that - my favorite runner). I ran a half marathon a week after purchasing - in them which is something you should not do normally, but the shoes were AMAZING!! Best run/race I have had in a few years! Thankful I made the purchase and can't wait to see how they feel when I break them in a little more! Very HAPPY with the HE5's!!

Propelling and Cushioning
