Hurricane XLT 3 Sandal

teva hurricane xlt2 are my goats. i prefer to walk in them over anything else even running shoes. this new iteration is highly disappointing. they are too high, and too much cushioning was added. they already make the ampsole and terra-fi for people who want heighth and extra padding. i'm really sad i feel they ruined my favorite sandal, and now the only option will be the terra fi lite which is inferior in every way. ugh who approved all this heighth and cushioning. they're so bulky in comparison with the xlt2s. also whats going on with the super strength velcro? :(

Nice style but too high and oddly cushy as opposed to “springy” for heavy duty walking up/down, rocky, pavement terrains. I’m 7.5, got the 7’s which seemed a tad short but worked. It already seems like a lotta shoe- wider and taller than necessary, so did not size up. Adjustment thoroughly solved a narrower foot issue. Oyster color seems more of a pretty and bright cream than I see online and goes with everything. The shoes take a washing machine cleaning quite well; impressive amounts of ground in dirt wash out quite easily. Do not favor the soles or height, though and will seek another shoe next time.

I wear a size 11 and most times shoes are slightly a tight fit, which is why I was surprised to find these Tevas too large - I thought I had ordered a mans size. I have the Hurricane XLT 2s which fit perfect. I don't know why the 3s are running larger and heavier. I really like the 2s but you cant find them anymore.

Not the same as my old Tevas. Higher heel and sole, straps not as soft and padded. Tred not as good.

I have worn an EU 37 for a long time; when I was purchasing these sandals I looked at the size chart for EU 37 and it said I was a 7M. However, when the sandals arrived and I tried them on they were definitely much too large. Looked underneath the strap where the sizing label is placed, and it did say 7M, but it showed EU 38. When I went down a size to the US 6M it correctly said EU 37 on the inside label and I am keeping that pair. The latest version of this sandal has a thicker / higher toothed and a very aggressive looking tread, I'm very much going to enjoy wearing these sandals. They have a lower / softer arch than my Chacos; I can wear these all day, my Chacos I can wear for shorter periods.

Nordstrom sent me something worn and a little dirty
