Tour comparison to the originals
As others have confirmed, the tour boots are lighter and durable compared to the originals which is why I chose this model. For some reason, the boot didn't come with a drawstring bag as listed in the description.
I'm 5'2, 110 pounds with very skinny calves. Now for the comparisons with the original.
Calf size: the tour calf size is slightly tighter but I didn't mind the slightly larger calf space with the originals. I wouldn't mind both fits.
Sizes: im a true size 6 and i found their size to be slightly larger and the 5 too snugged. I've decided to stick with the size 6 even with the slightly extra room.
Inserts: Only some inserts may work with the tour model. I've tried two different types of inserts. The cable stitched Inserts looked fine with the boot while the pleated design made the boot looked awkward. Since the material of the boot is softer, the appearance of the boot started to fold or cave in when I tried the pleated socks.

poor quality
I bought these boots in the store a little over a year ago and was immediately disappointed with the quality. They are flimsy and tore apart.

My first Hunter rain boot
I have been debating on spend this much amount of money for a pair of rain boot.,but oh well I worked hard so I earned its :) I have been searching and reading all the reviews from store to store just to find and make sure I will get a right boot, and size, I end up chose the Hunter Tour style, I went to Nordstrom store to try on but they didn't carry that style in store, I had to try the Hunter Original Tall, I wear 6 or 6.5 depend on the style, but with Original Tall I found that it's way too big with size 6 the boot was pretty heavy. I went home ordered online with the Tour Packable style in size 5, I will let you know why I chose size 5, it's because 80% of the reviews said they are run large, and since I tried original Tall they were big too that's why I went down one size. I'm so glad I did, I have a petite body, wide feet, average calf..I'm 5'1, 96lbs..but again I found that sometimes you think a person with 115lbs might get the bigger size of shoes but to me it's not, even they might be heavy but theirs feet might be narrow..so I want to give you as much info as possible so you can get yours right size by measured them.
My measurement
Calf circumference 13"
Feet wide 4"1/2
Ankle 8"1/2
High from foot to knee 15"
Foot insole 8"1/2
Tour boot size 5 measurement
Calf cir. 14"1/2
Feet wide 5"
Ankle 10"1/2
High 14"1/2 without the heel
Foot insole 9"1/2
This size 5 still give you an extra room to tuck in yours jean or wear sock, this boot are light weight, I got black/black and I loved it :)) it's matte.the reason I have 4 stars cuz the price and when I checked my boot there was a small scratch, I wanna exchange another pair but it's just hassle, I can live with that :) beside its wear out when you wear them anyway. I hoped my review is helpful, enjoy shopping.

Disappointed...
I purchased my Hunter boots from Nordstrom in early 2014. I also bought the buffer spray and used it after every few wears. I estimate that I wore the boots 10-12 times, and think I did a pretty good job maintaining and cleaning them. Imagine my surprise when I took them out of my closet last week during a rainy day and found that each boot was seriously discolored. They almost look "sun faded." I don't live where it snows and doubt salt damage was an issue. I am so upset that these boots lasted through so few wears. I emailed Hunter customer service and didn't even get a reply back. I do not recommend Hunter products!

Weighty Decisions
After sitting down and trying on every available Hunter boot (short, tall, gloss, matte, packable, original, even the ridiculously expensive rag&bone shorts), and then narrowing down the color options, I decided on the 'Tour' Packables because of their convenience and how much they weigh! I love how easily they fold down into nothing and still retain their shape when you shake them out. But the ultimate selling point was how light they feel when wearing them! Especially in comparison with the Original Hunter, they seemed much more manageable and less clunky for the size 9 foot at the end of these chicken legs. I just bought them and haven't bathtub tested or used them in our typical Seattle rain, but so far I am beyond happy with my choice. The only reason they didn't get five stars is because they don't come in 1/2 sizes and I think once the cold weather hits my big toe would be happier with a little more space to accommodate some thicker socks. For anyone confused/conflicted/unsure which to choose I recommend to try them all on for an immediate comparison so that you can figure out what works best for you.

Great boots. Must buy
These boots are so cute. They are fun to wear rain or shine. But if you're petite like me at 5'1" and wear a smaller size then I may recommend the kids hunter boots as they have a shorter shalf which worked out for me. Ended up returning these even though they're pretty good too
