Sunburst Pendant Necklace

I have worn this necklace several times and the chain has broken twice. I really love the piece and have always been able to fix it, but I think there will soon be a time when I won't feel like fixing it anymore. I would recommend this item to a friend who might be wearing it on a night out, but I would skip wearing it with your work wardrobe - it is very fragile.

This necklace is stunning. The only slight concern I have is that the chain seems quite delicate. It hasn't broken despite wearing it a few times, but I admit I have tried to be careful with it.

I just got the necklace and was very dissapointed with it for several reasons. First, the chain is very thin and delicate for a big thick pendant. I just think HH could have made the chain a little thicker. When I have it on, I don't see a balance between the chain and pendant. Also, I don't think it would handle an accidental tug and would break easily. Secondly, the chain is 26 inches long,but does NOT have a clasp. To me, the chain is not long enough to not have a clasp. I had to be very careful to slip it over my head trying not to break the chain. It was a little annoying they don' t give the clasp option. Anyway, I sent it back.

Here I go buying more House of Harlow. This jewelry goes with everything from jeans to a cocktail dress. I now have this in two colors and I'm planning to buy more.

I purchased the sunburst earrings in the chocolate/silver combination online, but saw this necklace in the store. I absolutely love it! The leather detail is the perfect accent to the sunburst design. The pendant is actually quite large, about 1 & a half inches in diameter. I can't wait to wear it with the earrings! Such a great set!

I've wanted this necklace for so long, too bad I couldn't find it in stores before I ordered it online or else I wouldn't have wasted my money. It looks cheap and tacky. The pendant is HUGE, too big, not trendy and oversized, and the "gold" plating used is awful, it's what makes this necklace look cheap, it can't possibly contain an ounce of real gold. The leather does look nice on this but it's not worth almost $60. The other reviewers are correct in the fact that the chain in very, very thin. However, the pendant has very little weight to it so the chain can hold it but I can see it breaking in an instant if it gets caught on anything. This is just not a piece that will hold up, if I planned to keep it, my fear would be it would not last very long and fall apart. My 16 year old cousin finds better looking pieces at dollar stores. I really thought this line was supposed to be of higher quality but I've purchased several pieces and almost all of them have had to be returned due to quality issues. Don't waste your money,
