Mahalia Long Sleeve Minidress

Ok where do I start. The dress is beautiful. I am 5’4, 125lb, 32DD and order Small, tried M as well but it was too loose. There is no stretch. Small hugs your body and provides fitted look, I love it. The length is on the shorter side. the hemming part at the bottom is awful and uneven, the back definitely could have some room, if you have a peach the dress will look awkward in the back, just too short. Also just like the other reviewer said the material at the bottom is pulling. See pictures. By paying $300 I would expect excellent quality. I reorder another two same sizes hopefully just this one has a bad finish, will see. Returning this piece.

I don’t normally do reviews but I just got back from an event and I was terribly disappointed with this dress. 11pm I purchased this dress 9/4/24 after 6pm, for a political event 9/5/24 (so I was pressed) I tried on this dress along with the navy blue large and X-Large and the black large and I told and showed the sale rep how the hem was off and I was advised , they could see what I was referring to but it was not that noticeable. Ofcourse I get this dress home and put it on and the hem sticks out like a sore thumb! It made the dress look cheap bc the hem was uneven, keep in mind there were SEVERAL hanging up with the exact same issue (I pointed it out to the sales rep) I hate I paid this type of money for a dress that even though it looks good it’s made terrible and once you put it on, it looks worse bc the hem is uneven and ppl can tell. I sat down most of the night due to being embarrassed about this hem. If you don’t believe me simply go to Nordstrom in dunwoody, ga (perimeter mall) and see if for yourself , I’m sure they’re still hanging up. For this dress to cost this amount the hem should be properly sewn. I wish I could get my money back unfortunately this was a wasted investment

This dress is very flattering especially for me a mom that has the apron belly and gets bloated later in the day. I ordered it long so I could wear it to work too and I thought the hem was just funny on my dress but apparently it’s in the reviews. I would give it 5 stars if it didn’t wrinkle easy and if I didn’t have to go pay extra to fix the hem because it was showing when I didn’t fix it. I would have tried the L if I had time but I really needed this dress and the XL fit well enough but there was a little extra room.
