Lulu Corset One-Shoulder Satin Midi Dress

For a dress that costs in excess of $300, it is shockingly poorly manufactured . There is a very awkward empty pillowy space in the rump area, where the zipper ends. The right sleeve appears to be sitting all wrong somehow. The ruched front area at the chest looks unfinished, like it needs an extra stitch. Basically, if you are have a good dressmaker and are willing to pay additional $$ to do some alterations, the idea of the dress and the red color are very nice.

The plastic boning in the bodice ripped through the fabric and sticks out in a very obvious way. Poor quality. Synthetic fabric, which is bad. Slit is too high, so if you are tall, you will not enjoy this. Also, I have a large bust and bit of a booty - House of CB is not made for us. Petite, skinny, rectangular bodies are probably the only ones who can wear House of CB (and beware - sizing is inconsistent across their products.) Cheap zipper, too.

...the dress is absolutely beautiful and great quality but not for us ladies with hips. I'm a size 2/4 but on the curvy side and my hips caused the corset to bend and twist creating an unflattering look, lastly the slit is so high and there isn't much overlap causing you to flash your hoo-haa if you're not careful.
