What it is: A concentrated treatment foundation with remarkable short- and long-term benefits that offers buildable, medium coverage.

What it does: Powered by the brand's proprietary Matrix Regeneration Complex, it targets the signs of aging by helping alleviate the appearance of wrinkles over time, and it creates a naturally radiant complexion. Added UVA/UVB SPF 15 helps protect skin from the sun, while the oil-free, long-wearing formula helps counter the signs of aging. The advanced, serum-like product is equivalent to an extension of your skin care regimen and its natural radiant finish looks like a second skin.
How to use: Prep your complexion with a primer or primer serum. Apply one pump of Veil Fluid Makeup to the back of your hand. Using a foundation brush, a kabuki brush or your fingertips, apply the product to the forehead, cheeks and chin. Distribute the product evenly and gently buff into the skin using light, circular strokes. Build until the desired level of coverage is achieved.

Great foundations
This foundation is worth the money. I was a little frustrated the pump didn't work at first but I exchanged it. It feels like silk on your skin. If you have expression lines or wrinkles it really helps them and it doesn't melt into them like most foundations do. It feels like you don't have makeup on and leaves your skin flawless. You can add more for nighttime as well. Great product. I found my new foundation.

Terrible Foundation
Bought this because I Love Love Love anything else from the Hourglass range ie: caution mascara, veil foundation stick, bronzer (all amazing) but this how could such a high end brand make something so so bad. It doesn't glide very well when applying. Also even with primer if you have any pores it sits in them amplifying them. I also have experienced this really strange white chalky like film on certain areas of my face when it has been applied. Don't buy this opt for the foundation stick as its far superior. Hourglass your products are to die for but don't know how you got this one so wrong.

Great foundations

Perfecting foundation for oily skin
I am 34, fair skinned, with sun damage, redness, wrinkles and fine lines, crepey eyes, acne scars, black heads and large pores. Basically I have all the signs of careless sun worship in my youth and the aging that results from it! This foundation didn't match me perfectly from the bottle, but nude 1.5 blended right into my skin and matched my skin tones perfectly as it set. I call it a chameleon foundation! Pretty neat. It stays all day, is buildable for more coverage without looking cakey, truly does soften fine lines, is luminous without looking shiny, very healthy looking, and pairs beautifully with the veil mineral primer for oil and shine control. My skin does get oily - there's no way around that for me - but this controls it and the product doesn't come off my face when I inevitably blot at some point in the day. I am so glad I found this product!

foundation is good if you can color match
The colors are difficult to match - for instance, I have light skin but not too light so I decided on the ivory / light to medium. Wayyyy too dark. However, the consistency of the foundation is fantastic. Will try a different color.

Great foundation!
I really like this product, especially when applied with the Hourglass foundation brush. The colors run a bit dark, and you don't need a full pump for your face. Texture is smooth, and it lasts all day.

Veil fluid foundation
I absolutely love this foundation, light, easily applied and was so fortunate to find my perfect shade. Just wonderful, buildable and has staying power with the mineral veil primer. Love it!

No Match
I wanted keep this foundation so badly, but unfortunately, the shade range is small, and I could find a color that matched me well. If you find a perfect color match, I would definitely recommend this foundation, especially if you have oily skin because it's oil free, and it contains SPF. It also dries to a nice powdery finish, so it looks very natural.
