Illusion^™ Hyaluronic Skin Tint Foundation

Wow! I think I may have found my HG Foundation. I picked this up on a whim because it had the word - Hyaluronic in it. At 48 years old, Hyaluronic Acid is my new best friend. It attracts moisture to the skin like a sponge and this foundation does just that! Yes, it is thick, so just know that is blends out like a dream with a damp beautyblender. The coverage is again, just what my skin needs-- blurs imperfections and covers hyperpigmentation. I was actually surprised by how much I love this foundation because I have tried them ALL. Seriously, I am a beauty junkie, and this one just makes my skin look good! It covers but does not feel cakey, does not settle into fine lines, and gives me a healthy glow. Thrilled with this purchase. If you are above 40 with dry skin- this is the way to go.

Hourglass has impressed me with their products from Day 1. You are not going to find a more emphatic, rich product that will give you extraordinary coverage, and it is only a Tint. Don't waste the product, get all of your money's worth, and utilize a pea size amount as it will be more than enough when you blend accordingly. Enjoy!

I was skeptical to try this product, as I have been loyal to Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer for years. This tinted moisturizer is thicker and gives better coverage, while still feeling super lightweight. I have combination skin, and this semi-matte tinted moisturizer gives me the perfect glow. No shine after 8 hours of wear! Definitely worth a try!

Great product but might take some getting used to. Wanted light to medium coverage with a slight dewy glow. After Chanel discontinued Teint Innocence, I struggled to find a comparable substitute. Still haven't but Illusion provides a very good in-between in terms of providing light/buildable coverage and dewy glow. In terms of fluid consistency Illusion is a bit on the drier side but this is bc it's very concentrated- a dollop goes a long way. At the same time, I recommend using a serum or a primer beforehand, otherwise you might end up pulling/tugging at your skin when applying. Also, you can use a sponge to apply but I recommend using your fingers because if you use a sponge or a brush, the tint will just get absorbed and you'll waste a lot of money. I use this product almost everyday and one container lasts me for about one year.
