What it is: A mechanical pencil with a unique triangular-shaped tip that combines powder and wax to create fuller, naturally defined brows.

What it does: Its shape allows you to sculpt with broad strokes using the flat edge of the pencil, as well as fill in fine lines using the pointed tip. Natural-looking shades allow you to customize your desired intensity—layer and apply with more pressure to go dark and bold or use a lighter touch and blend out to soften for a more natural look.
How to use: Twist up slightly until the pencil reveals itself. Begin applying to the fullest part of your brow using short strokes and proceed by following the shape of your brow. Use the brush on the other end to groom brows in place.

Soft Brunette Eyebrow Pencil
I used to wear the Tom Ford brow pencil and wanted to try this one instead to compare it. I have to say that I like this one better. Not only is it $12 cheaper, but I feel it applies better and I like the brush on this one better. I use the color "Taupe" in Tom Ford and that is more of a reddish brown color. The "Soft Brunette" in this Hourglass brow pencil is more of an ashy brown (no red in it at all). Since I still have some of my Tom Ford pencil left I combine the two brow pencils and use them both on my brows and it creates a great natural eyebrow. Both of these brow pencils last a long time and they are easy to use. I love the slanted pencil and the soft brush on the other end.

Way too expensive for what it is. The formula is too hard and dry, making it difficult to apply. The pencil itself is not thin nor pointy enough so does not make it easier to draw strokes of hair on, it'd just look like very unnatural, drawn-on strokes as opposed to natural realistic individual hair.

Good not great
I bought this brow pencil to replace my Tom Ford eyebrow pencil because it is SO expensive. I was hoping to save some money and get the same product but unfortunately it wasn't the same. Something about the texture of this pencil is not as good as the Tom Ford one... It's a bit dryer (maybe more wax?) and because of that you end up having to press harder which gives a less natural result. I also like the thinner shape of the Tom Ford pencil better. Overall, this is a good pencil, but not as good as others out there. If you don't want to spend almost $50 on an eyebrow pencil this is a good option but it's hard to do when you've used something better. For reference I bought the shade Dark brunette, I'm the espresso shade in the TF pencil. It was a little darker than I like but I'm not sure if it's due to having to press harder.

Perfect Brow
This brow is what I've been looking for. I've had tons of eyebrow liner from different brands. Some breaks so easily and you end up waiting your money. Some liner are too think and oily and doesn't stay on all day. This one is the best! Consistency is just perfect. It stays on all day. It is very easy to handle and most of all my brows look very natural. It is worth every penny. My search for best eyebrow pencil ended with Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

Love it!
I have tried so many eyebrow pencils in the past couple of years and this one is by far my favorite one so far. I love the shape of the pencil that makes it easy to fill in my brows in the early morning when I am in a rush and the handy eyebrow that comes along with it. I am asian with light brown hair and the warm brunette works great for me- very natural looking. I probably could have gone with soft brunette but it was completely sold out when I was ready to check out.

Wonderful Brow Pencil!
I just love the color of the Platinum Blonde - perfect with ashy hair color. Can't fault this pencil at all... I find myself checking to see how much I have left so that I can reorder before I run out! If you're using a brown brown pencil, but have ash tones in your hair, you won't believe the difference this color makes!
