Hot Chick Pointed Toe Slingback Pump (Women)

To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. These were my very first pair of Louboutins, and I was beyond excited to wear them for my graduation photo shoot and commencement ceremony. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into frustration and regret. I wore the shoes for just about two hours during my photo shoot, and to my surprise, when I took them off, the soles were already peeling. This was the first time I had ever worn them—specifically purchased for this special occasion—and they’re already showing excessive wear. As shown in the attached pictures, the bottoms look incredibly worn out after minimal use. To spend over $800 on a pair of shoes, only for them to deteriorate so quickly, is incredibly disheartening. You’d expect shoes at this price point and reputation to hold up, but sadly, that has not been my experience. I honestly feel like crying. I rarely write reviews—this may actually be my first one in all the years I’ve shopped at Nordstrom—but I felt compelled to share my experience. At this point, I regret not sticking to my trusty Steve Maddens, which have lasted through years of wear without issues. I had high hopes for wearing these Louboutins on my graduation day next week, but that excitement has completely faded. Christian Louboutin needs to do better—none of my other designer shoes have ever let me down like this.
