- Using a damp cloth, build a light lather with a small amount of a gentle soap. Lightly rub the damp cloth on the leather. Wipe away the lather without getting the leather wet. Polish with a dry towel and finish by treating with a mild leather conditioner.

Disappointing quality
The color/stain on this leather is not stable. Do not plan to wear with light colored jeans ... for awhile, anyway. Jury is out re: whether the color will stabilize over time/after additional soaping and conditioning. Very disappointing given price point. It's what I would expect from a low budget belt purchased on Amazon, but not from Nordstrom. It should have received more conditioning prior to tagging for sale!

Amazing quality leather
Great quality leather but that is to be expected for this price point. I can tell it was hand stitched as well. Personally didn't have any issue with the color wearing off on my clothing, maybe they resolved that issue
