Horsebit Sandal (Women)

Love them! I feel so sophisticated in them. Had debated whether to keep them because the description says the heel is 2 3/4th or 70 mm. Nope. These are 4 inches from the back. If you are thinking about purchasing these, make sure you know if you're getting the 2 3/4" or 4" horsebit sandal. I think they come in both heel heights - but it's impossible to know just by looking at the description and other's reviews. Because these are so well made and comfortable, I can easily walk in them. They hold my feet securely and look good IMHO. I'm a heel kinda girl. They are true to size. I'm 9 1/2 and these fit me despite my having slightly wide feet. Do not size up or down.

What’s not to love?! Beautiful, comfortable shoe that elevate your look. Looks great with dressy shorts and dresses/skirts. Love the white color as it’s not a bright white but more of a great neutral off white. The gold color Gucci horsebit hardware is a nice touch. Great block heel that will make it easier to walk on European cobblestone streets and on cruise ships. I think the skinniness of the ankle strap is very feminine. Runs a half size small for me. Bought 38.5…typically wear 38, except for Chloé (also 38.5). Very happy with my purchase! Note: I do have short toes so I typically have more room lengthwise (see photo)

Very flattering and comfy shoe. The only problem came on unacceptable condition. Scratches on the leather of both shoes. All the packaging inside including the bag was crumpled up. When you pay $890 for a pair of shoes, someone would expect it come Ina mint condition and packaging. Disappointed. Returning and purchasing the shoes somewhere else.

I am searching for comfy shoes to wear for my wedding so I chose these sandals in gold glitter to add a bit of pizzazz. I need a shoe between 3"-3.5" and these are 4". I'm a solid size 7 in any sneaker and have a medium-width foot and sized up to a 37.5 based on the recommendation in the description and I wish I hadn't because they're a little loose. Usually designer shoes run narrow on me and I can't stand having a tight strap across the instep but these fit across my instep nicely with a little bit of leeway. Maybe this is a good thing because this would allow me to put a padded insert in the instep (the insole is not padded and isn't going to be comfortable for any length of time for me). But if that is not your plan I recommend sticking with your normal size. I may order this in a 37 just to try it out. Oh and yeah the height might not be what I was looking for but DANG these are some incredibly cute shoes! Minus one star for the glitter trail I left when trying on the shoes and also for the sizing.

The leather on these shoes is noticeably not as high quality as the Gucci baby slide sandals I purchased late last year. You are of course paying a good bit for the brand but something to consider. Shoes run a bit small. I’m typically a size 8 and went up half a size. I have slightly narrow feet and these felt a bit tight across the top of the foot. Otherwise, the block heels make these more comfortable than your average heel. Gorgeous color and style so still planning to keep these and hope that they break in!
