Beautiful Coat
I enjoy having a wide selection of outerwear therefore I’ve
purchased a Bernardo coat for the past few winters and I have to say they are beautiful, true to size and warm. They definitely get the job done. I’m always pleased with my purchased. I gave it 4 starts because I wouldn’t describe the color as brown but more of a grayish/lavender. It’s actually a beautiful color.

Gorgeous but way too big
When we had a huge cold spell I realized that I would need a Puffer Jacket that was a bit longer and this Coat seemed perfect. I am familiar with the Brand and have a Jacket in a 2X that fits perfectly so I ordered the same in this Coat, however it was way to big and I had to return it. I loved the color it was not your typical brown but had some purple undertones. Very pretty overall. I did not reorder another coat since the Jacket that I have had a thinner stuffing around the shoulders that would always let the cold air in, so I did not want the same to happen with this coat. Of course I am not sure if that would happen but I figured I would give another brand a chance.

Puffer coat
Coat fits well and runs true to size. Pretty lilac/pinkish color. Fabric is really lightweight and hopefully will not snag easily. There are no cuffs inside coat at the wrists to block wind. Don’t feel the coat is as cold-proof as a down-filled one, but decided to keep it for days when a lighter winter coat is needed. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

Too bulky at the upper part
It is very bulky at my showlders and it allows the air to get inside. It fits well on my lower part but not on my upper.

Hmm...
I was looking for a warm light colored coat for NY winters and this is it. I first ordered the 2x and it was too big so, I ordered ordered the 1x. The 1x fit but I felt it did not leave enough room for layering comfortably. So, I ordered the 2x again. I prefer to have extra room for layering. The reason I decided to keep this coat is because it falls nicely on the body even though it is large, it's not bulky, I like the side slits with zipper and I love the color. I usually get down when it gets dark in the winter and the color will remind me to celebrate each day. After being through two types of chemo, I don't want to wear black. Even though is a warm coat it is not heavy at all. Beware, it runs at least one size larger or two size larger.
