Hooded Belted Water Resistant Rain Coat

This trench is great quality. The quilted piece/hood is removeable, but provides some extra warmth. I am 5'4" and this hit mid-calf for me (so, much longer than on the model). I would say it runs a TINY bit roomy. I got the XS which fits great, where as the sizing guide suggested I get a Small.

I have been looking for a lightweight stylish raincoat/layer for Florida winters and Chicago falls (I split my time between the two) and this one was PERFECT. It's very light, drapes nicely, and is not at all stiff - the fabric feels soft even though it's weatherproofed, which I feel like that is hard to find. It's very comfortable (like throw it on over your sweats for a flight comfy), doesn't easily wrinkle, and the added removable hood is a fun option that adds function (throw the hood up for sudden rain or a sporty look) and versatility (remove the hood for a dressier look) without added bulk. I will be wearing this a lot!

I found the color of this to be more muted than the pictures online... it was a true "khaki" vs the pictures which I feel were slightly brighter. It was just kind of boring for me in person. The splits on the bottom sides of the coat were kind of weird, it felt like they were flapping around. Finally - The combo of casual (quilted hood) + business (a trench) didn't quite work for me. Really nice quality though, I can see why a lot of people like this coat!
