A workhorse for sloppy, wet conditions, this shoe is built with the same waterproof membrane as its lower profile counterpart, along with a soft heel tab to accommodate the Achilles and a flexible collar for extra ankle support.
Perfect for: Trail running.
Upper: It has a waterproof membrane bootie construction, compression molded EVA midsole and bolstered heel collar construction.
Lower: Grounded in Vibram® Megagrip with traction lug for enhanced grip on loose soil, this trail icon employs a foot-cradling heel bolster, rubber toe cap, and gusseted tongue to keep trail debris at bay.

Not for me
Felt fine unlaced. After lacing up the ball of my foot started hurting almost immediately. I don’t have wide feet. Not sure why they felt so comfortable for me. Was very excited until I got on the trail. Ouch.

High top trail runners
After rolling an ankle trotting with my dogs on a trail, I was quite pleased to find a higher topped trail running shoe for a little more support. Now they are my favorite shoe for walking, trotting the trails or streets, especially when it’s cold and wet. The higher top keeps my ankles warm and comfortable. Love em.
