Happy Feet!

I was a little concerned about what the fit would be like since there were some complaints about that in the reviews, not to mention farting noises. I’m happy to report that there are no noises when I walk in these, and they are super comfortable, supportive and cush. I have plantar fasciitis that is almost resolved, with some mild Achilles tendinitis and posterior tibial tendon issues for which I just got orthotics. I have been wearing Birkenstock flip flops and rubber slides that just don’t have the cushion and arch support I need so when I put these on I was super pleased - what a difference! They do run on the large side as I normally wear an 8 1/2 in the Hoka sneaker and a 9 in the Ora would have been too big. The 8 fits pretty well and I’m just glad I don’t need to return/exchange them. I’m glad I wasn’t swayed by negative reviews- I think anyone considering this slide should take a gamble, buy them and see how they fit for themselves—there’s a possibility you may have to return them but you may also love them so it’s worth a shot :)

rubber shoe

Before buying the shoe I read the description carefully . The description never included that the shoe is all rubber. I found the full description on google. I am allergic to latex. Rubber is latex. Too bad ,it would have been a great shoe for me.

These are not good

These slides are way too wide and not soft at all. Unless you have wide feet as a female they will be too wide for you. I also found them to be way too hard and not comfortable at all. I will wear my adidas slides any day over these at half the price. Not worth it. Plastic junk.

the recovery sandal you want!

I tried Birks new recovery sandal - no idea why it’s called a recover sandal. Felt horrible, and like all Birks, there was no room for my 3rd toe… those went right back. I tried a cheaper pair from Totes - great price point, but you get what you pay for, and they don’t seem like they’ll last very long. I’m tired of Crocs, and already love Hoka’s for running so thought this could be worth a try. Yes!! Cushioned support with just the right amount of arch as well. Nobody buys these for the fashion, but they’re not totally hideous, and will be worn in the house only for me. Loving every step! Only critique - wish they had half sizes.

Bring back the original!

I love Hoka. Have many of the original slides for plantar fasciitis. Worked like a charm. This new model is not an improvement. Unwearable. Not comfortable. I wish Hoka would bring back the original model. They were the best.

Not for bunions

If you have bunions even on the smaller size, do not purchase. My feet are so irritated and painful after a week. Am returning. Also be careful with wet or moisturized feet as these become very slippery. Not worth the price.
