Hopara Mountain Sandal (Women)

I purchased these sandals for an upcoming trip to Oahu. I’ve worn around the house and find them to be the most comfortable “ all around” shoe I own. I’m hoping they live up to my expectations of being a good walking, hiking, water sandal. They are very lightweight despite being on the large side. I agree with other reviewers that they are difficult to get on. Once on they are like walking on clouds.

I ordered in black as an alternative to my sleek looking black ASICS Kayano sneakers for fast walking/ light hiking in hot weather. I need a lot of support for feet and legs so being HOKA I thought great for the 2 H’s weather- hot and humid. Very sturdy lotsa support but alas too clunky for my smallish frame. For a medium tall woman height HOKA fan should be good.

I own a pair of Hoka tennis shoes which are like walking on a cloud. These Hoka sandals are good, but not quite as good as the tennis shoes. That said, they are of a good quality and yes, they are comfortable. If you are at all vain, be advised that these will make your feet appear HUGE..both long and super wide. I'm of an age where vanity is far less important than a great fit and comfort. These do feel wide..my feet are about the only "thin" thing on my body. When wearing them, I'm always slightly astonished at how large and wide my feet look. Mind you, I wear them anyway, but like I said..if you're vain, think hard on these. They do have an adjustable lacing system that allows me to super tighten them, otherwise they'd be way too wide.
