Comfortable, durable hiking shoe
The HOKA Kaha seems like a great compromise between a traditional hiking boot and a tennis shoe. Great Vibram sole, and very comfortable upper. Slightly larger in size than normal, but perhaps not enough to size down a half size.

I have several pairs of Hokas and the Kaha is the least comfortable by far. Hopefully they will wear in a little but I've worn them for a week and they are still very stiff.
