Details & care

Lightweight, plush and perfect for everyday runs, this workhorse running shoe delivers a soft, resilient ride and puts performance comfort under every step when you wear it as a walking sneaker.

Perfect for: Everyday runners and walkers looking for peak plushness and zonal breathability in a shoe that doubles as a walking sneaker when the pace slows down.

Upper: A stretchy, supportive knit features zonal venting for targeted air circulation. The 3D molded collar provides plush, ankle-hugging comfort and distraction-free lockdown. Extended heel pull promotes easy on and off.

Midsole Drop: 5mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: Premium foam and increased stack height put exceptionally plush comfort under every stride. Rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame™ softens and supports every landing. Smooth MetaRocker™ construction guides every stride comfortably forward. Durabrasion rubber puts traction where you need it and resists wear in high-contact zones.

  • Cushioning: absorbs impact and distributes weight for consistent, buoyant comfort under each step
  • Hybrid: transitions from a running shoe to a walking sneaker with high-performance comfort for any activity
  • Lace-up style
  • Removable, cushioned insole allows for custom orthotics
  • Active Foot Frame construction puts reliable support under every landing
  • Smooth MetaRocker technology ensures a consistently comfortable ride at any distance

I stand on my feet for work a lot and these shoes have made all the difference for my feet. High quality construction and very comfortable.

Disappointed Hoka fan

I had several HOKA shoes and this one fabric separated from the rubber near the interface on both shoes near the mid other edges after mild use as comfort shoe for 8 hours a day for 3-4 days a week. I owned two other HOKA s and they are still good after 2 years but this one disappointed I can return it after 9 months. Rest of the shoes is still good but with fabric rubber separation I can not wear it.

not convinced

The new generation of Hoka are not as comfortable. Although the sole is thicker I have not been comfortable. My knees hurt from walking. I’m so disappointed. I hope the last generation is available.

Hoda Bondi 9 supportive athletic shoe

My physical therapist recommended supportive “running” athletic shoes after having foot surgery. The Hoka Bondi 9 was in stock and fit my requirements. I have had them for about a week and am satisfied with them so far. Nordstrom is a great company as they offer a split shoe service for people who have 2 different size feet (1.5 size difference) allowing those of us with this unfortunate circumstance to have properly fitted shoes without having to buy 2 pair. Thank you Nordstrom! I wish Nordstrom Rack provided this service.

The Perfect Dad Shoe

I have morton's toe and this shoe fits so perfectly for me a full size higher than my presumed size (no heel slippage). I wish they were more attractive styles, even though I know most people buying these aren't worried about a style. Great traction and they feel so comfortable even when I work on my feet all day!
