A gusseted tongue and PFC-free Gore-Tex protection keep splashes and trail debris at bay, while an Achilles-cradling pull tab and a liner made of 50% soybean oil wrap every step in comfort. Multidirectional lugs and an extended heel that absorbs impact ground every outing in stability and confidence.

Possibly the worst fitting hiking shoe ever made
When I saw these in the store they appeared very well made and just what I needed for the winter. I did as advised and purchased a 1/2 size up. The first day I tried to walk in them they felt really awkward and I only walked about a mile. Anyway after spending a month or so trying to walk in these ridiculous I’ll-fitting shoes I gave up. These are the only shoes to ever give me tendinitis, saver your money and pain there are better shoes out there!

Big, blue, and bonkers
Big and goofy, but super comfy and superior in rough terrain. Much lighter than my Raichle boots with good support and gore tex lined, which was helpful during recent rainfall in Acadia Natl Park.

Hoka works!
These are my favorite light hiker now. Love them so much that I went out and replaced my walking sneakers for the Hoka Bondi 8, as well. Now, if they only made a dress shoe!
