What it does: It is formulated with plant-based ingredients. With a blend of botanical extracts it gently cleanses and invigorates, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. The Hinoki scent is inspired by the Buddhist temples of Mount Koya in Japan, which all carry the mystical, profusely warm and mesmerizing scent of the hinoki trees from the surrounding forest.
How to use: Lather the shower gel onto wet skin in the shower or bath, then rinse.

Addressing the Haters
Love this body wash. I see all these reviews about how strong and bad this is and how it smells like Axe. Okay… just to clarify this scent is called Hinoki which is a Japanese cypress tree. This smells abundantly woody and spicy, no floral notes can be found. So yeah, leans more masculine which I’m perfectly fine with. About the strength.. I love a body wash you can smell after the shower! Blind bought and happily surprised.

Very Drying
I used this body wash for only a week, and my skin became so dry I was flaking all over. I've never had this happen with any other body wash ever. Returned. The scent.. meh. I do not recommend

Amazing Fragrance
All the stars for Hinoki - love love love it. Discovered it - Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse had the Hinoki liquid hand soap in the restroom. Since then it’s been a staple in my home - the shower gel is lovely. Fragrance lasts, it’s nourishing, lathers nicely. Ultra luxe way to start the day (or end it!) - wasn’t happy with the service I got (SA ignored me while I waited for an eternity - that’s never the Nordys way) - if you get from Le Labo directly on the phone they are so attentive and your package arrives with many samples and it’s so beautifully presented!!

Caused itchy skin
My skin felt smooth and moisturized after a couple days of use, but then parts my legs started feeling itchy and I couldn’t stop scratching them. I stopped using this body wash and my itchy skin went away. If you’re not allergic to this body wash as l was, it’s a good body wash.
