Hilary Floral Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

I’m 6’, 160 pounds and bought the L. I’m going to say that, as others have correctly noted, this dress is 5/5 difficult to put on since the waistband does NOT give. I was definitely cussing by the time I was able to get my arms in the sleeves and settling the dress around my waist. So, be prepared for that. The brighter news is that this is a very pretty dress once it’s on, and it is very lightweight, flowy and—a big bonus, at least to me—resistant to wrinkling or creasing. It does have a light lining. I live in the hot, humid south and this will be perfect for an outdoor evening event. I have an hourglass figure and the L fits me like a glove but I think I could have ordered the XL and that would have offered just a bit more give—and literal breathing room. The L is fine but, if in doubt, definitely size up. Also, I have a small A-B bust and the L probably wouldn’t accommodate a larger bust if you’re tall like I am. Last, speaking as a Tall, this is just above ankle length on me and the sleeves hit at bracelet length, about 4” above my wrists. I thought the darker colors in the pattern were blacks and greys, but it’s actually navy and sage green—which is springier and prettier.

I usually wear a large, but the dress looked roomy, so I bought a medium. I could not get it over my shoulders, due to the waist part does not give. I sent back and ordered a large. The large was also hard to get over my shoulders, but with some help, it worked. It is beautiful, the colors or as pictured. I m 5'6" and it was very long on me. You need heels. I cold shoulder cutout was not to low. It's comfortable and not see through. I wore it with a wide belt, and it looked great. At the outdoor wedding, I did not lots of compliments.
