How to use: Make sure the battery is fully charged. Place the battery on the back of the hat where the three magnetic dots are. The battery should easily click into place. Press and hold the power button. The battery will beep and the lights will turn on. Once the Red Light Hat lights are illuminated, put the hat on your head. The battery will beep after the 10-minute treatment is up. Use The Red Light Hat daily for 10 minutes for 16 weeks. Follow up with regular maintenance treatments 3-4 times a week.

So far so good
This is a product for which the promised claims of hair health and growth will take several months to assess. What I can say at this point, having received it and tried it a few times, is that it is easy to use, the specifications on the product match what they say, the wavelength of 650 is within the range that testing so far suggests supports hair health, and everything so far indicates this is a high-quality product. What I don’t know yet, will there be a problem down the road? Will it break? Time will tell. It’s also sold on Amazon, but I’m very happy to have bought it from Nordstrom knowing there’s support behind a product like this. It’s “FDA cleared“ which is different from FDA approved, because red light therapy for hair use is still being studied to determine how much it will help. But it means that this product has been assessed as being safe.

not enough diodes to work.
You will never see new growth, unless it is a medical grade cap, which only a doctor can prescribe. As a general rule of thumb, anything of 270 diodes or more is what you want. 20 minutes a day. You should also take photos in the same light once per month. It is sometimes hard to remember what you start with.

My hair is so thin, now.
I have been using the red-light therapy hat for almost 3 months, my hair is so thin. I am an African American woman with 4B hair. It did nothing for my hair or scalp but made my hair worse. This is not for me.

No new growth
My husband has pretty significant hair loss on the top of his head and we bought this hoping it would help with at least some new growth. He used it very consistently for 5 full months and we saw absolutely no improvement, no new growth whatsoever. This might help for minor hair loss issues but otherwise I would not recommend it.

It works!!
I have a very dry itchy scalp, and it relived it using daily for one week. Nothing I have tried has ever worked over the years for my scalp until I found this. I've tried everything, medicated topicals, diet changes, vitamins etc. I'm hoping over time it will help my hair grow back thicker as well now my scalp is healing.

Higher Dose Red Light Hat
Fabulous! So convenient to use. I have the Revive DPL book, which I love for the versatility. I would put like a tee pee on my head. Not convenient. However, the higher dose is. So glad I purchased it. Yes, I would recommend.
