High Waist Bootcut Velveteen Pants

FIT. I usually wear size 27 in jeans and sometimes wear petite sizing if the inseam is long enough. The brand's own website lists the petite inseam as 31 inches so I ordered both 27P and 28P in black. The 27P is much too small. The 28P is close fitting but fine through the waist and stomach bit too snug and pulls across my upper thighs which are not particularly large. Going up a suze might help there but would be too large in the waist. FABRIC. This is lightweight, stretchy velveteen, so not bulky. The black is a nice and saturated, rich, dark shade. CUT. The petite sizes have a 10-in rise, so a mid-rise on me. The leg shape is more of a baby bootcut, not an exaggerated shape.

These run a little snug, I can wear a 27 easily in other brands but these were pretty snug. Not uncomfortable, just snug through the belly area. I love the red color and was excited to find these in petite but the length is crazy long, I think alterations is taking off 5 or 6 inches on the bottom! The overall fit is very flattering, one star off for the length being so off!

Beautiful color, fabric and construction. The weight of material is substantive. Unfortunately, it ran a little large for me but would be good for somebody that is long waisted and had a bit more in the hip area. I normally wear a 30-31. These were a 31. If you are between sizes order the smaller size. Hoping a 30 will do the trick because I ordered that in a different color. But they run very long.
