Great hat!

This hat was perfect for my trip to Antarctica. It was warm, the strap kept the hat on during zodiac rides, and the brim was great for keeping bright sun at bay!

Protects my ears

I bought this for especially cold and windy days, and it serves its purpose. What I don't like about it - and the reason for the "average" review - is the difficulty in using the strap release buckle. It's darn near impossible to manage.

Really Warm and Soft

Really warm and soft. Keeps my whole head, ears, neck and chin warm in the cold and strong winds. I wear it filling the bird feeders and going to the mailbox.

Meh

Not windproof. I liked the idea of the brim/ear covering combo but the hat is just not that warm. The fit is off as well. the back is too short , I feel it should be long enough to meet the coat collar. There's a gap where wind gets in. Great concept but needs tweaking. Windproof fleece and longer back .
