High Collar Open Front Boiled Wool Jacket

I was so excited to see this jacket that I preordered it. I am sorry to say that, for me, it is a big disappointment. I am 5’4”, 124 lbs. I ordered size small. It is enormous and way too long except for a much taller person. I think it is supposed to be mid thigh; it hits just above my knee. This is all the more confusing because it is described as easy fit, not boxy fit, and this summer I had to return size small tops and reorder in a medium - a size I have never worn in EF. I don’t think sizing down will help because it would still be too long. The wine color is lovely though darker than it appears online. I would really like to see this jacket in petite sizing. In browsing the fall selections, I don’t see wool jackets offered in petites except for maybe one in black.
