Couldn't be happier
It's a "daypack", not a backpack, meaning that it's much lighter weight and without any structure. The straps are not padded. But it is so cute -- the straps are adjustable, and it has a flattering feminine silhouette that lays longer as compared to wide. I plan to use it for flip flops, a water bottle, snacks, and a sweater on daily fun outings when I need something to carry those kinds of things. It is probably not the best option for heavier and bulkier items like a laptop or books, etc. that would do better in a stiffer, more traditional canvas backpack.

The fabric near the zipper tore the first day. There is hole now.

great concept, but
I purchased this for my recent trip to Cancun. My thoughts were to use it as a beach/pool bag since it can be easily packed away and zipped close. It also doesn’t take up as much luggage space as a beach tote. It’s a great concept, but its pack away-ability makes it not the most comfortable. If the bag was heavy, the shoulder straps were uncomfortable. And obviously the bag doesn’t hold any shape. Not bad, but does what it’s supposed to do, I suppose. It’s literally like a foldable grocery shopping bag, but in book bag form with the Herschel label…

love this bag
This little gem is lightweight but can hold a ton! It arrived just in time for a 9 day trip to amusement parks, the beach and touring a new city and was perfect for all uses. Great quality and super cute. If it wasn’t sold out, I’d order it in more colors!
