Herringbone Coat

This coat is 56% polyester, 40% wool, 4% "other fibers." For the price, it was definitely too good to be 100% wool as claimed in the item description. The second I unwrapped it I could tell the coat was made with polyester by just touching it and without looking at the label. It feels unpleasant to touch. Nordstrom needs to correct the description as it is completely false.

This item description is incorrect. It says it is 100% wool but it’s actually 56% polyester which is a majority of the fabric content. I’m very disappointed and will be returning this. Please change the description.

The coat looked beautiful in the pictures, but in real life, the construction is lacking. As someone else mentioned, it is not 100% wool, and it’s noticeable. Immediately upon unboxing, I could tell the texture felt off. Additionally, there were a few loose threads and the seams were messy. I ordered a size a 2, and the coat fit but was a little tight. If the construction was better, I would have tried to exchange for size 4. For reference, I am 5’4” and 120 lbs. If you have long arms, you might find the sleeve length a little short. For me, they were the perfect length. I would not recommend this coat at the sale price point.
