Great perfume that I found in 10 years
It took me ten years to find the best perfumes ever. It includes this, several of frederick malles, a couple creed luxury line, a few jo malones and this.
I tried all three of un jardin version and like them all. However, I think this is something I can use every day. Everyone gave me compliments after using the three un jardin versions. However, the mediterranean was a bit too woody for me at the time of this purchase- I 'd buy the woody smell now. The toit was too sweet and smelled like a 15 year old girl -although people gave so many compliments, I feel a bit mature for that scent.
Scent doesn't last very long though. Only about an hour or two. I can smell it for 15-30 minutes, then my nose probably gets numb. A friend or another person can smell it 1 -2 hour later even after I SHOWER in it.
This is the only contemporary fragrance that does NOT give me headache or nausea. Ralph Lauren, Creed regular line, Tom ford, Marc Jacob, Lancome, Dior, Gucci, DKNY, Chloe, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Bvlgari, fragrances smell so artificial and cheap and gives me a lot of headache. Chanel and bvlgari gives me headache immediately while chloe smells so wonderful but makes me almost puke an hour after applying it. And I can't feel unsick since the chloe scent stays on me even after washing with soap. I've purchased all those brands and returned so many. No offense to those who love them, but this is how I feel.

I sprayed this scent on my arm and told my son "Mommy loves this". He spoke to the sales woman and we went to another department. While getting a snack, the waiter smelled the scent on me and asked about it and where he could get it for his mother. With that my son came to the table and placed the bag in front of me and said Merry Christmas! All through the meal and on the ride home I sniffed my arm. I was instantly uplifted and in a wonder mood. This is the best scent I have ever experienced!!! I also read the description provided on site and since my favorite artist is Monet (Impressionism) it is no wonder I am in love with this scent

So fresh!
I love this perfume! It is so fresh - perfect for spring and summer. It is not sweet or too feminine, which I appreciate. To me, the most prominent smell is citrus. It's really hard to go wrong with Hermes colognes and perfumes because the scents are distinctive and classy. This perfume wears well throughout the day. I wouldn't say that it lasts all day, but it also does not leave a weird half-scent by the end of the day that some other perfumes tend to do.
P.S. this is considered a unisex cologne. It's for men and women and smells great on both genders!

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil... Enter Your Garden...
Have been purchasing Hermes Paris, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil for years.
Love the spell each time it casts on me every Spring through Summer into Fall months...
First notes are fresh cut-citrus, middle, same with a Secret-Garden "rain-like, freshness" unlike any I have smelled.
It smells like what I would imagine a far away garden in Provence smells like after a good rain, only this garden is somewhere deep off the beaten track, teaming with blooming fruit trees, running streams and a beautiful blue green lake with moss & ancient stone lined paths taking you around and through...
Fresh, lusty life...
No heavy silage here, only sexy sexy fresh that men seem to gravitate to, hang around you, gushing "gosh you smell gooood" kinda scent!...

Hermes favorite
Before I tried Hermes' Jardin sur Le Nil I rarely wore perfume. Now I love all their fragrances, but Jardin is my favorite. I use it everyday all year long. It's fresh, light and has a slightly exotic scent. Bravo Hermes!

Light and lovely.
Jardin Sur le Nil is simply beautiful. I wear the fragrance after first applying the lotion. It lasts all day and I fall in love with it all over again every time I smell my wrist. This fragrance is very feminine and makes me feel pretty. Love, love, love it! This is one of those scents that is pure perfection and there are not many.
