Eau des Merveilles Bleue — Eau de toilette

I absolutely love this new Hermes fragrance! I was sure there were some floral notes, as it is a very pretty scent. I have the other Eau de Mervielles scents, and this one is very different. No where near as spicy or warm... Clean, fresh and beautiful! My husband has complimented me every time I've worn it.

Two stars and only for the reason I see repeated here for this new fragrance; and it's a typical Hermes 'complaint' that their fragrances have no sillage or any staying power on the skin... if you buy an expensive fragrance, shouldn't you, as well as others, be able to appreciate the fragrance for a while ? Issues with this new fragrance, which I was so wanting to try, again seems to be the lack of staying power. One of my all time favorite Hermes fragrance is Paprika de Brasil - LOVE it but it also, is gone in an hour at best. Why can't Hermes make a fragrance that lasts longer than a blink of an eye?

Love the smell but very soon after I apply it, the fragrance just disappears. I guess a major part of the problem may be that it's not perfume but Eau de toilette. Attractive bottle and a pleasant warm weather fragrance, but disappointing in that the lovely smell disappears SO quickly for me. I have enjoyed many Hermes fragrances over the last several years and if this product was available in a perfume I'd probably buy it again for the summer months.
