Heritage Western Stretch Fit R-Toe Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved these boots. Felt great, looked great and just what I was wanted for a summer Western wedding. The cowboy heel and the shaft were the perfect height to be comfortable for an evening of dancing. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 but it was a tad loose in the heel so I tried to exchange the boot for a 7. Sadly, out of stock until after the wedding so the search goes on.

I was really excited to get these boots. (I ordered black but planned to get red, too, if they fit they way I hoped.) I ordered a 5 1/2, though I usually wear a 6 in boots, with thin socks. They fit perfectly through the foot, with much better arch support than I expected. The problem was at the top/calf. The were so wide that even if I wanted to tuck in heavy jeans, the top would still have a huge gap. So when I tried to walk in them, there was too much "play" from front to back. Back to searching for the perfect boots...
