Heart of Glass Silkening Shampoo

I have no idea how anyone could write anything negative about this product 😳 Competitors writing negative reviews maybe?? Seriously. It’s the best shampoo I’ve ever used. My hairdresser used this on me at the salon and I fell in LOVE with the smell… it’s intoxicating, but subtle. It does NOT smell “chemically” like someone else falsely mentioned. I knew I had to buy some after she used it on me! I initially bought it just because of how good it smelled lol. It makes my hair feel and smell so wonderful. It’s not a super pigmented purple shampoo, like a lot of other purple shampoos are- it makes my hair silky and shiny and I use it everyday. No buildup, no residue, and it doesn’t strip away ALL moisture from my hair like most shampoos do. It’s been my favorite shampoo for almost 2 years now. I love it!!

This really didn't work for my natural blond, fine hair. It did make my hair soft and reasonably shiny, but I also ended up with the flattest, most lifeless hair I've had in my life. No amount of styling or product could give me the slightest movement, bounce, or volume. My hair didn't look dirty, exactly, but just hung there, lank and heavy. I'm going to use this bottle up by using it a couple of times each week, alternating with virtually any other shampoo I can find. Seriously, the cheap drugstore stuff my husband uses makes my hair look better than this. For those sensitive to fragrance - or who just don't want to smell their shampoo all day - be aware that this one is VERY strongly scented. The scent is a horrible, medicinal/chemical smell that I think is supposed to be vaguely floral. It clings to the hair until the next washing, no matter how well I try to rinse or what other products I use. Ditto for the conditioner in this line.
