Who it's for: Ideal for normal, combination or oily skin types. What it does: This foundation features a micro-skin system that follows skin movement, provides immediate blurring and corrects imperfections. How to use: Apply one pump to the back of your hand or directly onto a brush. Start at the center of the face and blend outward. For fuller coverage, add another pump or use a stippling motion with a sponge.

Break outs and strong scented

I have the old shade 1Noo on alabaster (ultra hd) I went to get a new one because this is the only foundation I will wear and saw they had a new product. This broke me out like crazy and has such a strong perfume scent. They had such a good formula before. I am so disappointed I have been wearing them for 9 years and now I have to look for a different brand. I wish they could sell the ultra HD.

I wanted to love it…

I wanted to love this new formulation. However, I just can’t get on board. As a professional Makeup Artist who used the original HD skin formula religiously on her clients, I was apprehensive when I found out that they reformulated it. Unfortunately, for me this formula is nothing like the original, and I find it very drying and too much of a matte finish. I used this product on three separate occasions with three separate clients and I hated how it looked on all of them. Unfortunately, I will be replacing the foundations in my kit because this just does not deliver the type of results that I expect from Makeup forever.

Uhhh This was a mistake

I LOVED your Matte Velvet foundation and you stopped making it and I was devastated. It was the best, it never seperated, I could literally sweat puddles and it would stay perfectly no creasing. Then you stopped making it so I tried your HD, it was ok it also didnt crease but it was no Matte Velvet. But this new formula smh TRASH. It separates and creases. OMG Maybelline is almost better. You are going down the same road MAC cosmetics did. They changed their formula and its trash now which is why I switched to Make Up Forever in the first place. The only thing you have left good is your foundation powder and Matte finishing spray. PLEASE do not change those. I hate having to switch to another brand.

I'm still figuring it out!

I've used MUFE HD Skin Foundation in my professional kit for a few years, so I was excited to try the new Balance & Perfecting Foundation. The formula behaves a bit differently, so I'm still testing how it layers and wears with my go-to products. I'm enjoying it so far, but I haven't reached for it enough to say I love it just yet.
