- It serves to both strengthen the skin's barrier and even out the skin tone. Vitamin C and Niacinamide work together to regulate melanin production, smoothing out the skin's texture and brightening tone. Tranexamic acid (4%) targets dark spots and prevents hyperpigmentation. Squalene and centella asiatica round out the list, preventing moisture loss and soothing any irritation. Its lightweight, water-like, gel-like texture can also be used as a treatment for wrinkles and other premature signs of aging.
