Cute but not flattering
Loved the pattern, the back and the style but at 8 months pregnant it was not a flattering style. From the front and back, adorable, from the side it makes you look a lot bigger than you are. I have only gained 25 lbs and 5’10” for reference, but wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to look like you’re wearing a tent.

Pre-pregnancy I was a size 6 in this style dress. I bought both S and M and found the S fit best. The smocked top gives plenty of stretch for pregnancy-enlarged chest while still remaining fitted enough around rib cage to showcase your bump. The back is cut narrow and requires a racer back bra. I am 8 months pregnant and while yes, it is a full skirt, I think it is flattering (size down if in between sizes).

Too much fabric
Really wanted the reviews to be wrong but this dress swallowed me up. The back detail is so cute as is the color, but unfortunately there is just way too much fabric in the skirt. It could almost fit two bodies. For reference I’m 146 lbs now at 8 months pregnant and I ordered my normal size small.

Oversized Skirt
This dress is well made and the top is forgiving due to the ruching, but the skirt is VERY full. It is a complete circle skirt with a lot of fabric, so it kind of swallows you up. Even with an 8 month pregnant belly it felt overly full/roomy in a not very flattering way.
