Oiled-leather boot with a squared snub toe and an ankle harness with antiqued brass hardware. Known for their strength, durability and comfort, Frye boots are constructed with genuine leather welts.

not worth the money
I was obsessed with this classic moto boot and knew that if the leather was good quality the money would be worth it. I don’t have wide feet or have ever had issues with narrow shoes… but these boots are NARROW. And the leather is so thick that I don’t see the day where I’ll finally break these in without them hurting. The promotions are so strange and for spending nearly $500 I didn’t want to keep them. Cute look but definitely try them on before pulling the trigger.

Wides are available
I bought these at a different store (sorry Nordstrom). The 11's felt too small, 11.5 not right, and 12 way too big. Tried 11 wide and perfect! There are places you can get the wides - just wish Nordstrom carried them.
I like cowboy boots because I don't have to wear orthotics. These need a heel pad and are wonderful. Very comfortable. Love 'em.

Great Boots, couple of caveats
Frye makes a nice product. Mens or womens, they run big so order 1/2 size down or you will get too much heel slip. Pictures are deceiving as colors can vary significantly, this particular boot is called "Brown" by Nordstroms and "Gaucho" by Frye's Boots and the picture Nordstrom is using is from the color that Frye calls "Tan".

Excellent Boots
My size was not in stock so I had to order them. When they arrived, my usual size was too large. I had to reorder in a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and they fit perfectly. Try on multiple sizes before you buy. The are comfortable and look great. I highly recommend them.

Frye Boots
Although I had to reorder the boots (to another size larger), they are well worth the purchase! They are hard to get on the first several times (due to the harness), but are etremely comfortable once they are on.

THESE ARE THE WOMEN’S
NORDSTROM - REVISE YOUR TITLE - THESE ARE FOR WOMEN. Check the heel!! The men’s boot has a flat, lower heel. The women’s boot has a tapered heel and is a slightly higher heel. There are women who prefer the men’s version so go for it if that is you and likely there are men who prefer the more traditional cowboy boot heel on the women’s version. That said, the important distinction is regarding sizing. These are women’s sizes. As with most Frye boots, sizing a half size down is my usual size if I want to wear thick socks. If not planning for thick socks, I have to size down a whole size. GREAT BOOTS! I want the ivory color too!
