If you have problems with swelling these seems to be a comfortable and accommodating choice. Both cream and black look very nice as well as fit comfortably — with easy on and off. That said, there is a strong rubbery tire smell coming from the black pair. Unboxed to see if it improves. Three days so far and only lessened a little. The collar is not as high as most shooties/booties, they may go better with pants or maxi skirt. They come with supplemental inserts to add cushioning, but fine without it. In lieu of adding extra I would just swap it out for a Dr. Scholl’s gel insert. Stretchable suede. Good cushioning. Accommodates puffing. Crisp style. True to width. Enjoy!

I have always loved the assortment of boots and booties for women for many years from Nordstrom. However, this pair is not only unattractive but extremely uncomfortable.. the minute I put them on and try to walk they were hurting my feet in an instant. The dark brown color of these boots almost looks like black and I was not looking for black boots, but for a lighter brown these just did not fit the bill..
