Quicksand Hair Styling Clay

One of my all-time favorite products from one of my favorite hair styling brands. This is a pretty versatile product. I think it has ground up pumice in it or something like that but I feel like it’s almost like a dry shampoo because of that. My hair doesn’t feel greasy or weighed down like other products. I like to use it as the first product because it’s lightweight and then if I want more of a hold I’ll add a second product. A lot of time I’ll use it by itself because it has a nice dry/matte finish and medium hold.

Readers - I really wish I could give this product a BIG F A T ZERO. Firstly, the tiniest amount of this stuff (and I mean TINY - like barely touching the stuff with your finger tips) dries out your hair like you've been burning it with a straight iron for 24 hours straight; and dryness lasts for over a week once you've washed it out - even if you condition your hair multiple times a day. It strips your hair of all natural moisture/oil. It doesn't feel natural. It's a living nightmare. Secondly, if you sweat while you're wearing it, it gets in your pores and painfully burns your skin, leaving visible burns and rashes that will last for days. Whatever it's made of is toxic. Lastly, it smells like mold, and the smell lasts for days after you've tried to wash it out (which takes forever). The smell gets on everything your hair touches. Your pillow cases will be ruined forever. In sum, this toxic, stanky, damaging, irritating product should be banned by the FDA. Regards, A Burned, Dried-out, Stanked-up purchaser
