Retro Lace Hotpants

I love these Handy Panky boy-type shorts! As are the other Hanky Pankys they are comfortable and don't look "old lady" at all. I was wearing the thong to avoid panty lines but wasn't real comfortable in them. I think these briefs actually do a better job on the panty line issue. ONE ISSUE - for some reason they have put a seam running from front to back, The back seam doesn't bother me but the seam that goes through the middle of my crotch can be uncomfortable in tight pants, and also can create a "crotch seam" in the outer pantime. Yes, there is a piece of breathable cotton over the seam, but you can still see/feel it. I will still buy these but am going to submit my seam concerns directly to HP. They are known for comfortable wearing and this doesn't fit that definition.

I want boy shorts because I am older and my backside is not what it use to be. Why do they fit them so nicely in front and then lift the back end so that they are less modest than any standard underwear. I have bikini underwear that cover my cheeks better than these do. The back is also lower and feels uncomfortable. I have a short waist so maybe it is my body that does not work in these.

Let's get real, the thong doesn't leave panty lines and is awesome under jeans but when you're of a certain age, not very attractive if you have giggle showing under slacks. These panties hold you in like their retro thong but covers the whole backside - without panty lines! Much more comfortable than any spanx-like undies. I'm so happy I found these and am going to stock up on 10 point cyber Monday.

These are total quality. Lace is soft against your toosh but gives a slight feeling of support like it's keeping you from jiggling around. Just a hint of firming. No rolling and no wedging. Lace comes down the leg just a bit so there are no panty lines; no cheek lines. More colors and matching cammys are too cute. They cost a bit but you get what you pay for.

The photo does not do this item justice. It's beautiful on! Though far from a control garment, the lace across the belly and lower stitching detail all work to make you feel "together". An unexpected suprise from this brand. I have searched for the perfect boyshort, which usually roll up on the thighs...Not this one. It all stays put! Try it, you'll be pleased - looks way more expensive than the price reflects. And comfort is a base standard for me. I have the black and beige, and will be buying the white and any other colors asap... PS - I have purchased the Hanky-Panky V-kini's, V-kini retro, and both boyshort styles. This one, ladies, was the winner!
