Retro High Waist Thong

These were suggested to me by a more curve associate at my local store. She used her arm to demonstrate that the lace created a smooth layer without the uncomfortable tighness of a shaper (spanx, etc). I bought one pair that day and three days later returned for four more. I wear a solid 14 but the normal 1 size fit me perfect. You can pull them down into more of a boy short if you're wearing pants, and pull them up to smooth your hipline in a skirt or dress. They're awesome. The only complaint, and I had to search to find one, was that the top line sometimes hits right where my hip is. So when sitting, they CAN roll a little, but rarely do. And standing, it's never a problem. My new favorite!

I love Hanky Panky thong underwear but as someone with a “bit of a tummy” they often rolled down in front. These high waisted versions are genius - I’m not saying it will minimize your bulges but it definitely smoothed the area *and* didn’t roll or slide down. Genius! I would say that “one size fits all” has its limitations - I think anyone over a size 10-12 might not find these a good fit. Maybe HP should think about making a couple of larger sizes so that every person could enjoy their fit and style.
