Lace Camisole

I have enjoyed my Hanky Panky camisoles in several colors since discovering them years ago. I am petite and have the length shortened by a pro seamstress. Worth it because nothing else performs under silk & thin fabric tops like these camisoles! They prevent bra details from showing through the shirt. Shirt fabrics slide over them, not sticking. And, when worn over top of pants or jeans waistline, instead of tucked in, they hide where the pant waistband ends and skin begins. I especially like how that camouflages exact waistline, particularly when wearing a thin blouse. They have been well made and hand wash and hang dry in minutes. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, well-made, and versatile camisole. I bought the dark brownish-grey color. It’s a nice neutral that looks good under a lot of tops and blouses. Softer than black which I prefer. When I put it on, I was thrilled to see that the XL seemed to be a perfect fit for my 5’9” size 16 frame. Sadly when I wore it for a full day it continually crept up from my lower hips to my torso and then all the way up to my under-bust. I had to keep pulling it down. I think this is due to the fact that my bra size is 36G. I plan to order this camisole again in a size 1X to accommodate my bust. So for other ample-chested ladies it there: consider sizing up.

I was looking for a soft camisole that did not fit too tightly, to wear under shirts that are a bit see through. These hanky panky camisoles are perfect. although they are body conforming garments, by ordering an extra large I was able to get them to fit quite loosely, which is what I wanted--most stretch camisoles never fit loosely, no matter what size you order (I'm generally a size large)! They also still come up to a decent height across the chest, unlike many extra large fits which come with enormous necks; and in general camisoles are cut so low they don't do any good to fill in the neck of a shirt anyway. these do exactly what I want, the stitching is good, and the material is soft. I ordered four, because who knows when I will find another good camisole!
