Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

My favorite work bag!
I have so many work bags — could never find the right one that checked all the boxes: holds laptops and doesn’t feel heavy, comfortable to wear, easy to open/access inside items, quick phone access, simple appearance that doesn’t scream “work bag”, durable, beautiful, but also doesn’t have an obvious designer look. I splurged on this one instead of replacing my 5th work tote. It was a little more than I was looking to spend but I am so glad I did! Years later this baby is still getting the job done and the one I reach for most! I get both men and women asking where I got the bag from to purchase.
I have the Depp bag too, but reach for this one 10x more. It holds a little more than the Depp. I love it!!
