Runs very large

Looking for a jumpsuit for a wedding, ordered multiple. This was the first one I tried and was hoping to like it. Runs about 2 sizes too big. I'm normally 6/8, ordered an 8 for the thigh area ( need 4 for top) and it was huge. Sent back. Love the fabric, style and classic look. I'm sure the right size would be stunning! Moving to my next one.
