V-Neck Cashmere Sweater

Love this sweater. Very soft and flattering fit. These run bigger than the crewneck cashmere version. I am 32-25-34 and normally wear xs or small, and the xs was perfect leaving length to do a French tuck in front and not be too tight. If I wanted it more form fitting I would need smaller. These were everything I had hoped the J Crew cashmere sweaters would be..flattering and soft. Purchased the black and gray. Will be perfect for running around town in jeans and also for the office.

Love my sweater, however it is relatively thin and not all that soft. I wouldn't call this "cashmery," but I know it is on par with comparably priced cashmere from other retailers. It is not as nice as comparable Halogen sweaters from 12 years ago. The fit is on the "oversized" side. I am 50, 5' 4" and about 155. The medium is fine, the small might've been better. The Chinois red is not something I normally would pick but this time it appealed to me and I'm glad I have it. Makes me a bit pale but its something different, so why not? For the sale price, I recommend and would buy again.

I bought the pink, lovely color as shown. This definitely runs large. I wear a 10 blouse and the medium was big, even when tried on over a blouse. Also quite sheer for cashmere, the print on my blouse showed through the bright pink quite clearly. I won’t be able to wear this by itself, I expect even a nude bra will show. Disappointed. I’ve bought better weight cashmere sweaters elsewhere this season for a comparable price.
